  • Q: What is a Franchise Disclosure Document and why is it important?
A: This is a legal document provided by the franchisor to a potential franchisee as required under the Franchising Code of Conduct. It outlines key details about the franchise system, franchisor, costs; and obligations of both the franchisor and franchisee.

A detailed written report is then prepared by us which highlights key provisions of the franchise agreement and disclosure document, areas that we recommend require further clarification from the franchisor; and suggested amendments to the franchise documentation.
